Music City Madness Gives Artists a Breakthrough Opportunity
Online contest gives unsigned artists a chance to be on CMT’s Unplugged at Studio 330.
In the spirit of supporting unsigned and independent country musicians, CMT and Comcast have paired up again to bring you the Music City Madness competition. Undiscovered singers and songwriters will be able to submit their original video performance entry online or via mail to compete against the nation’s best undiscovered talent. All styles of country music are welcome including bluegrass, folk, southern rock and Americana, among others.
Winners will have the chance to appear on CMT’s Unplugged at Studio 330 series as well as receive mentoring time with country music legend Randy Travis. Deadline for auditions and submissions is October 6th so there’s not much time to get your entry in. For more details about the competition please see the press release at our big sister site Country Music News Blog.
